As a bird lover, I’m equally inspired and exasperated by squirrels. They’re undeniably cute but also remarkably clever. No matter what I do, I can’t seem to keep my bird feeders full; they’ve mastered the art of helping themselves to the buffet. As both a nature enthusiast and academic, I couldn’t resist adding a playful twist, imagining the book they must have studied to perfect their technique. And so, “Bird Feeders 101” was born.
