Artwork InSPIRED by Nature

Growing up, I always loved going to my grandma’s house. Her back porch and pergola were draped in beautiful vines, while the rest of the yard felt like a dreamy meadow. Inside, her home had a vintage charm where beauty was found in every detail. That is where I first learned to slow down, notice my surroundings, and appreciate the quiet magic in everyday places.

That same sense of wonder continues to inspire my work today. Through oil painting and photography, I capture the beauty I see in nature and the feelings those moments bring. My work often blends realistic detail with loose, expressive brushwork, using vibrant and earthy colors to bring warmth, personality, and life to each subject.

I am especially drawn to animals, wildlife, florals, botanicals, and landscapes inspired by the places I call home. Some of my animal paintings feature human accessories or whimsical details, creating portraits that feel playful, heartfelt, and full of character. Through these pieces, I enjoy imagining the personality and story behind each subject while inviting viewers to connect with the natural world in a fresh way.

My husband and I currently live in north Georgia, surrounded by mountains, trails, and peaceful landscapes that often find their way into my work. While much of my art reflects the place I call home, some pieces are also inspired by states where we have lived or traveled.

Nature brings me peace, and when I’m in the studio, I hope to share that feeling through artwork that feels warm, nostalgic, whimsical, and connected to the world around us. My hope is that my work brings you the same kind of happiness I felt when visiting my grandma’s house.

Thank you for being here!
